Hi, I’m Candice, a mom, storyteller, and spirit-based creative living in a little home just outside Chicago. I’ve always loved exploring different forms of creativity, but I found my heart in writing stories for children. Through White Cloud Kids Co., I hope to create books that help kids see themselves in the stories they read — to recognize their feelings, their questions, and the quiet magic that lives inside them.

My debut book, My Mom Is a Millennial, is rooted in my experiences growing up in the 90s and brought to life through richly detailed illustrations that invite exploration. At its heart, the story is about connection — a way for me to share pieces of my past with my daughter and create a shared experience through storytelling.
