Hi, I’m Candice, a mom, storyteller, and spirit-based creative living in a little home just outside Chicago. I’ve always loved exploring different forms of creativity, but I found my heart in writing stories for children. Through White Cloud Kids, I hope to create books that spark connection, curiosity, and meaningful moments between children and the people who love them.

My debut book, My Mom Is a Millennial, is rooted in my experiences growing up in the 90s and brought to life through richly detailed illustrations designed to spark curiosity, nostalgia, and conversation. At its heart, the story is about connection, creating a shared experience between parents and children through storytelling while offering today’s kids a glimpse into the analog childhood many millennial parents still hold close.
